What the hell?

Are we going to do about our run game?? If we don't find at least some balance there is no way we can go far. When will Mike Davis get a shot..hell he cant be worse than the other guys pretending to be RB's...

I think Rawls actually once he got going was solid, and JD. Promote Mike Davis. But in the end as it started to working.. we bailed on it

They could've established the run game if they didn't have 16 penalties spread out over the course of 10 different drives.

So the game plan works like this, establishes the run unless you're in a long down and distance. We put ourselves in long down in distance for most of the game which eliminates the run as an option.

We bailed on it because plenties put us in passing situations.

I actually thought the run game was coming together just fine, first with Lacy then with Rawls.

Problem is we'd get a few yards then move back ten from penalties. Or we'd get a third and manageable, followed by some crazy 40 yard homerun pass attempt. Where's the quick, short, passing play for third and short?

If we could get a good start and an early lead, we'd get the running game going. But we're playing from behind so much and stepping on our own weiners with penalties.

As everyone has said, the run game was working until Bevell bailed. Then the line started their bullshit with penalties. Lacy was starting to get chunks and then Rawls continued. Then Bevell quit on the run and the line imploded.
