I've seen it thrown around here like its factual. I have had posters tell me to "google" as its free. If we are talking "20+ games without an opening drive TD" and mocking fellow hawk fans...fact check yourself.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=400927747

We had a opening drive TD vs Atlanta last year in the playoffs.

If you mean regular season? State that.

When you say "20+ games without a opening TD", it isn't factually true.

Are the opening drives bad? Yes.

Again if its just for regular season games? State that.

Not for 20+ games in a row.

Again its at 8 straight which sucks. And if its 23 of 24 it still sucks. Factually its not 20+.

All records are regular season. Post season stats are is it's own category.

Just give it up already. We own it.

-Tyler Lockett has lost a step (or two) and is no longer the explosive returner he once was

-20+ games in a row now the hawks have not scored a TD on their first possession

-Russell is literally a one man band. If we didn't have him we could very well be 2-6

-Bevell sucks. First play to Jimmy Graham was late in the 2nd quarter

Scored vs Atlanta in playoffs. That narrative while mainly true on how poor we are in opening drives is false. It isn't 20+ games. It is 8. Lol

Wrong. The record we hold is NO TOUCHDOWN drives on 1st possession (regular season record) and is at 24 straight games now. We broke the record at 22 games and every week we set it higher now.

That wouldn't fit the 'Neener Know-it-all' Narrative.

Your sounding silly. Its why in other thread you went and edited to regular season games.

You guys said " 20+ straight games." Not 20+ regular season games."

Why can you not accept the record? Sounding silly?? you got that backwards. They announced the record on national TV during the NY game. It's not like Seattle fans want this and made it up. :177692:

Again I'm only basing it off what you guys said. They said regular season gms.

Not total games. Why? Cuz playoffs they scored.

I'm only correcting the 20+ theory. Not just regular season one.

My point was that they scored in Atlanta playoff game. They argued they didn't. At least Seymour went and edited his post to "regular" season games which I didn't disagree.

The post season DOES NOT factor into records unless it is explicitly stated. That's just the convention, the way it is. Listen to literally any TV broadcast and you'll see they present records/streaks in this manner. If the streak includes playoffs, they'll say "including the postseason." If it is solely about the playoffs, they'll explicitly state it's a postseason record. Just the way it is.

You are a troll! Nearly all records are separated by regular season and post season.

My post was edited 3 minutes after I made it not just now. Drop it dude. Our opening offense absolutely sucks and we are in the record book every week it continues.
