A few weeks ago Richard Sherman said in a post game presser that rumors of the LOB's demise was greatly overstated. I would extend that comment to the team as a whole. For those of you who think the Seahawks loss to the Redskins proves they are not a very good team or going to tank I would humbly suggest you haven't been paying attention to how this team turns it on in the back half of their seasons.

Seahawks @ Cardinals WIN
Falcons @ Seahawks WIN
Seahawks @ 49ers WIN
Eagles @ Seahawks WIN
Seahawks @ Jaguars LOSS
Rams @ Seahawks WIN
Seahawks @ Cowboys LOSS
Cardinals @ Seahawks WIN

11-5 baby. My original prediction for this season. BAM!

What say ye?

Finish season 10-6 tied with Rams. Win NFC West due to the season sweep.
In a cruel ending lose the Wild Card game to the Rams.

Should Ezekiel Elliott get to play this week, his likely suspension will overlap with their game with us. In that event, I'd narrowly predict a win.

This team definitely has the ability to win every game remaining on the schedule and I think they turn it on and run the table. The Jaguars are definitely beatable if we can stop the run. And the Eagles are beatable if we can slow down Wentz. The Cowboys will probably be without Elliot when we play them.

But seeing how up and down they can be i think they also have as much a chance to drop a game to the Niners as they do to the Eagles or Cowboys.

You guys need to stop predicting a loss to the Jaguars, I'm going to that game!!!!! :D :177692: :141847_bnono:

We are going to win.

At the current rate I see us losing to the Eagles and @Dallas towards the end of the year. 11-5, wild card.

I HOPE I'm completely wrong.

Falcons - Win
49ers - Win
Eagles - Win
Jaguars - Win
Rams - Loss
Cowboys - Loss
Cardinals - Win

We can run the table. But I think the back to back Rams to Cowboys games are REALLY tough. And both teams tend to play well against our offense

11-5 could give us a bye and a division game at home. Who you have being No. 2?

This is pretty much what I'm sticking with, but after the Texans & Redskins games, I know that we are too inconsistent to feel confident in any game. We can literally win every game on this schedule, and every game is also a possible loss until we can get this team to be consistent.

11 wins rarely yields a second seed. Going back fifteen years, there have only been seven two seeds with 11 or fewer wins. Less than a 25% rate. The Saints, Rams, and Cowboys have a better shot at the 2 seed than we do after that horrible loss than we do IMO.

Seems to me that 10-6 is likely the most realistic final record. 9-7 could happen but so could 11-5. So 10-6 is the mean average...

Could be. I just think there's too much parity this year and 11 wins could land a team at 2. It's good that of the 3 teams you mentioned, we get the chance to play 2 of them.

I think 7-1 is possible, but damn it'll be tough. I really want to believe our guys can do it. Have to win all our home games and only lose one more on the road. If we can find a way to beat Jax or Dallas and play our best for Atlanta and Philly, I think it's very possible.

25% is not exactly rare

The Falcons were the #2 seed last year at 11-5. The top 6-7 teams in the NFC play each other in the next 8 weeks ( The Eagles, Rams, Cowboys, Seahawks, etc.). So out of the top NFC teams, one of the 6-7 is going to suffer 2-3 more losses. We just have to hope it's not us. But at 11-5, plenty of parity in the NFL to gain a #2 seed

It really depends on Pete and his mindset as well as the teams mentality, if the gloves come off and he says let the offense play we are golden, if he pigeon holes a play style it could get rough.
