Maxwell would be good. I think he can assimilate quickly. Quill to CB1 and Max outside as well.

Davis is having surgery, I believe.

Maxwell is probably more familiar with the D and has had more recent success. Is also said to be healthier.

Vontae Davis from PFF:

-His played slipped in 2016 while dealing with various injuries, and that continued in 2017 as he struggled playing through the groin injury. Davis played 330 snaps this season, and his 45.2 overall PFF grade ranks 94th of 115 cornerbacks.

-Davis has allowed 16 receptions for 226 yards and one touchdown this season, and ranks 78th at cornerback with 1.29 yards per cover snap.

Maybe a partial tear, if I'm correct, and I may not be, but I've seen someone with a full tear and they are not walking...We won't know until later.

Sherman still counts against the cap if he goes on IR. Unless we restructure more contracts, which I would be strongly against, our best bet is just to play our young guys. Other teams are getting banged up too (average of 1 to IR every game).

I don’t think he’d be able to walk like he was if his Achilles was torn. I hope there’s a chance he’s not done for season. The Seahawks won he game but they took a lot of losses with injured players.
