That field was atrocious. NFL needs to step in here

Did anyone else believe that that field was just plain bad? It seems players were slipping all over the place as huge divets were popping up everywhere. Probably also helped with some of the injuries as well. This is not the first time the AZ field has been just plain crappy. The NFL should really take control of the situations where teams are just fielding bad turf.

Thoughts?

I️ posted about the abundance of divots in the GameDay forum.
One low level camera angle showed how bad it really was.
I️ don’t recall that field having a history of being bad but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have one.

I wonder if there have been many events there. It's the time of year for HS playoffs. Plus, is there a college team that plays in the stadium? It was looking like it has been a bit overused lately.

I wonder if that's what happened to Sherman, he slipped in such an odd way. i know he had been having achilles problems this week, but that crappy field may have been the dagger.
