I see some of the lower IQ posters still bring up the uncalled PI on Julio. No mention of the head slap by Julio of course.

Yeah it is pretty much their theme.

How can a new fan base recover from a Superbowl implosion like that? It happened to Boston in 1986 but the team had been around for almost 100 years before that. It took the Red Sox another 30 years to win another one and wash that stink off of the team. The Falcons can pretend like the team was not changed forever after that loss, but they were and they will never be the same.

I could tell by the smell that a Saints fan had been here recently. So glad to see your fanbase off life support and without the bags on your heads. Can't wait to play you. Watching the Redskins dice your defense to pieces makes me so anxious to get our turn.

The feeling is mutual, my friend. I can't wait until we meet the Falcons.

But, our fanbase continues to be among the strongest in the NFL. And if you have a few minutes some day I'll fill you in on the history of those select fans that wore the bags in the later part of 1980 and into 1981.

By the way, the only thing I can smell is a batch of slow cooked chicken taco meat for some street style tacos. I see you are a newbie around here. This forum is about class. That said, welcome to .NET!
