According to ESPN Stats & Information, Seattle targeted Graham 25 times in the red zone in 2015-16 compared to 16 already in 2017 -- four over the first four games and 12 in the past five.

But it also has been a matter of improved execution. None of Graham's four targets over the first four games produced a catch, while the 12 since then have resulted in nine receptions and all six of his touchdowns.

This shows how underrated our coaches are. They figured out that by targeting Graham in the redzone we can get more TDs.........

And it only took them three years! After he came in as a completely known commodity that we traded a 1st round pick for!

For $10M, you better start putting up those TD's!

Nice to have him finally consistently produce in the red zone (ignoring the drops and poor blocking), but it still seems like they would've been better off spending that $10M on the OL and picking up a Jake Butt and/or George Kittle (in the middle rounds) and adding a great in-line blocker who'd help the running game while making clutch catches like Anthony Fasano through free agency for cheap. Even Martellus Bennett was available recently for 700k.

idk I don't understand. :(

That Bennett situation was pretty sketchy. IMO he flat out quit on the packers after Rodgers went down. He said he couldn't play and was opting for surgery after getting several outside opinions. Mentioning the packers doctors were forcing him to play. Then numerous past and present GB players called him out and backed the team doctor.

Granted I've never really been a fan of him personally; but to all of a sudden magically be OK enough to play the same week he was cut? When a day before he said he was too injured to play? Boom no surgery needed anymore? It's sketchy and I'd prefer he not be around this locker room. Too many teams have given up on him for it not to be a one time occurrence.

Patriots have pulled this with a couple players over the years.

Cut a player to sign a need position, wink and nod if we have a need the second half of the season we will resign you for our Super Bowl run.

Anyone else think Bevell is loving this, now he is going to out smart everyone by going away from what's working. More bubble screens to Darboh.

They started being more simple, sometimes simple is better.

Most definitely. Unfortunately our offensive powers that be have never figured out this rudimentary concept. The flawed ideology of "outfoxing" could be the prologue to this era's final volume.
