Huard’s Chalk Talk: Nick Vannett gives Seahawks another option in red zone

Tight end Jimmy Graham has finally broken through as a threat in the red zone for the Seahawks this season, so much so that he’s already eclipsed his previous total number of touchdowns in his first two years with Seattle combined and set a franchise record. It appears the Seahawks were able to translate Graham’s success into a TD by another tight end, as well.

Nick Vannett caught his first career NFL touchdown in the Seahawks’ 24-13 win over the 49ers on Sunday, giving Seattle yet another score in a red zone situation.

Huard is a good listen for those who think Bevell is underrated as a coordinator. His red-zone play-calling has been significantly better this season.

Meaning, he's probably a 6 out of 10 now. Wilson needs a 7 or higher to really unlock his potential.
