I was thinking about this a lot lately and I know that there is a lot of talk about the o line chemistry and how they haven't really played much together. I think what gets overlooked is the chemistry from the defensive side.
When an all pro player and in this case players get sidelined with injuries, it takes time for the team to learn to play with each other. I think we are starting to see this defense play together. When i see Mike B opening up lanes for Clark, it reminds me of him and Avril. But I think that there had to be trust established.
They talk a lot about doing your job, you have to trust that they will. that's why Bobby and Wright play so well together.
In addition, I think we relied upon the... we will line up.. you know what we are doing but we are better than you defensive game plan. Now we are having to start actually changing things up. We no longer have the talent to mask deficiencies in coaching.
