It is essential that our defense limit their 3rd and 12’s to 16’s and keep them to a much more manageable (for us) 3rd and 3’s to 5’s. We have to do a better of job of not tackling for losses or sacking the QB on first and second downs. If we can somehow alter the game plan to allow no more than a few third and tens or more, it will be a rough day for Jax. Under no circumstance can we give up big plays like forcing intentional grounding or offensive holding on early downs. The subsequent 3rd and 20’s on our D will create a hole that will be extremely hard for even Russell to dig out of.

I see what you did there, and agree!

I been hating to see 3rd and really long.

We get a 3rd and 6, and the D gets off the field... 3rd and 13 means a fresh set of downs
