How do we go from having a shootout game with Houston (when Watson was healthy) and then lose to the Redskins the next week. Then we beat the 10-1 Eagles by 2 touchdowns and then almost lose to the Jags by 2 touchdowns (before Russ used his 4th qtr magic again).

Why does it feel like routine to lose to teams we should be winning against and winning against teams that we're expected to lose? It's such a horrible feeling

If your expectation was that we would automatically win against the best defense in the league (ppg, anyways), you're delusional. This was by no means a game we should have won, unless it was only in your mind.

It was still close, and we had a chance to pull it out.

Because the NFL is about matchups. Not reputation, stereotypes, or assumptions. This was a bad matchup from the beginning. We don’t run the ball effectively so a great pass rush and secondary is our Achilles heel

Wilson is incredible at the end of games for sure. Always keeps you in it.

Don't get why they had to act sore losers at the end, though. Was a great game on both ends. Jags showed a lot.

The team isn't coached well, thats why there is inconsistency, and also why games are painful to watch.

I didn't expect a blowout game like someone else predicted, but after last week's game against the eagles when we played lights out, I did expect a lot better from this team tonight than what we got. My optimism hoped for a blowout game, my logic knew it would be a close game. Either way, I expected better from this team based off of last week's performance

Defensive injuries taking a toll. The drop in play when Sherm and Kam went out was very noticeable, losing Wagner was immediately on display. Then KJ as well. The backups had zero lane control or awareness.

Alexander only had to stay outside on the 3rd and 13 run and they get the ball back. Instead he ran inside, washed himself out of the play, game over.

Also, defensive line did not create any pressure today whatsoever after having a monster game last week.

This had nothing to do with defense. Out coached on offense.

It absolutely did. The defense should've been able to lock down Bortles and that offense, but he was shredding them.

Pete Carroll has one of the worst coaching staffs in the league, Russ is one of the best QBs in the league. RW cancels out a lot of bad, but he isn't superman. These are the results you get, and will continue to get until changes are made.

Take Russ off of this team, and replace him with Andy Dalton and they would be going 7-9 every year Jeff Fisher style. Bearing in mind Fisher had worse Qbs than Andy Dalton, let that sink in.

Pete is going to have to take a long hard look at his coaching staff, and make the necessary changes by getting HC level coordinators while Pete takes a more CEO type of approach, or he can continue to run his head into a brick wall, the choice is his. Change is going to come soon regardless, Pete is 66 yrs old.

It was a team loss.

Inconsistency is what you're going to get when the best chance to win depends on RW pulling off magic. Whether it's before half-time or at the end, it ain't gonna happen all the time.

We have our injured Db's back there ,we win this game.
We play 4 quarters of football-We win.
RW cannot take first halfs off and expect to win.

THIS.

The Seahawks are not well-coached. So much of our trouble/inconsistency comes down to that.

W/O Wilson we would be the league's pre-Matthau Bad News Bears because of the coaching = starting with PC.

We're really missing Sherman. I don't see that 29 yard pass that got them into range for their final FG happening with Sherman in there.

Without RW, Seahawks are 4-12 to 6-10 tops.

I think the Seahawks are one of the best coached teams in the league, in player development.
I think the Seahawks are one of the worst coached teams in the league, in scheming and playcalling.

Is it possible to just have "substitute" coaches on game days? lol

He's been consistently great all year and was the only reason we didn't lose by 20+ today. Of course the turnovers are up, because his margin for error is literally zero because the defense can't get a stop to save its life. Just like Luck with the Colts.
