Crystal Ball Time

The Seahawks and Rams have three remaining games to decide the division. Here's the way I see it working out.

Seahawks

Rams. This is a win. The Seahawks, with all their injuries, are going to rise to the occasion and take care of business at home in front of a very rowdy 12 crowd. Would a loss surprise me? Not to these Rams but I would bet money on the Seahawks by 3+.

@ Cowboys. This is the kind of game like the Jaguars game. Coming off likely another emotional and draining win against a quality opponent at home, the Seahawks have to travel to Dallas facing a recharged Cowboys team that gets Ezekiel Elliott back from suspension. This one has loss written all over it.

Cardinals. A toss up game. In recent years the Seahawks have beaten the Cardinals in their house and the Cardinals come to ours in late December to return the favor. Problem is, the Seahawks will be motivated to win the division or at least hope for a wildcard. Sorry Cards, not this year.

Rams

@ Seahawks. See above. Loss.

@ Titans. Huge game. I think the Titans are capable of beating the Rams at home and just might. The season for both the Rams and the Seahawks likely comes down to this game. I am going to predict a loss only because it's on the road and the Titans are scrappy and can pull it off especially if they are fighting for a playoff spot themselves.

49ers. Easy to call this a win but the 49ers with Garoppolo are going to want to finish on a high note. Just won't be enough against a Rams team fighting for their playoff lives. Win.

Rams final 2017 regular season record: 10-6

Seahawks win the division, host a wildcard.

As you can see, that Titans game could very well be the pivotal matchup for both teams chances at the division. I am going to be a BIG Titans fan that day.

I kind of agree.

I think rams win last two regardless of outcome vs us.

Wagner and Wright will either play pretty hurt or not play at all. They'll lose to the Rams and Cowboys and miss the playoffs. Too many injuries.

Should never count out Wilson though.

The season may end up resting in the hands of the Savior in week 17.

I mean, he might have better success throwing it through the uprights than using his feet.

Mariota is banged up so, unfortunately, I’d take the Rams in that game.

I pray it doesn’t come down to needing the 49ers to beat the Rams in week 17.

Ridiculous... they exposed many tangible problems with the team. In what way was this a good thing?

Mariota is ALWAYS banged up, was through college too.

When and we are in. No having to hope other teams do this or do that on top of winning out. If we can string 3 straight wins to close out the year, we win the division and host a playoff game. Simple? In theory, not necessarily in execution.
