He's an AWESOME talent who came back from a potentially career-ending injury.

I truly believe if he were better utilized he would be sitting @ about 14-16 TD right now. He's that good a red zone threat.
Still would like to see him stay

Well, for now, Jimmy G gives us some good news...

I don't get our offensive staff. Last year they used him between the 20s, barely in the red zone.

This year, used in red zone, barely between the 20s.

Honestly though, if you were Graham, would you come back here? This offense is so Jekyll and Hyde.

Jimmy is Jekyll and Hyde, to me.
To me he seems so lackadaisical. No effort in blocking scheme, drops outside the 20, doesn’t seem to put a strong effort to make difficult catches.
Strong effort only seems to occur when he is in the endzone.
Maybe a misperception on my part but, that is how “I” see it.

Agree. Will take a strong plea from Wilson to keep him here and a needed change in coaches.

Just another example of bad mismanagement by the organization the last few years.

It kills my soul to think about what could have been if we were smart enough to simply use Graham how he CLEARLY AND OBVIOUSLY should be used from the day we got him...

The fact he established an NFL record underscores that he was used properly.

Be interesting to see how he pans out in the off season.

If there are offensive coaching changes as I expect there to be, depending on who is drawing up the plays he may well be happy to stay.

Who knows at this point, I’m in two minds myself if I’d like to see him resigned.

Reading this he does remind me of our great #37. Great in the RZ.

10+ TDs in 3/5 seasons in NO (and 9 another season)

10+ TD in 1/3 seasons in Seattle

Hurt and getting healthy left him unable to produce 1 1/2 seasons in Seattle. We needed him to do what he could to help preserve Russ too. I’d say in his limited time and with our offensive philosophy, he’s been all we could ask for and more.

Exactly what is JG's TD total each year in Seattle?

If anyone ever thought Jimmy was going to put up numbers in Seattle like he did in NO you were gonna be disappointed.

Love what he brings to table when he's on. Not a fan of the drops and how he vanishes in some games. But overall, damn good player who likely will be playing somewhere else next year.

And that makes me sad given the "what-could-have-been" factor.

Really hope he stays but you're likely right - he's probably looking elsewhere at this point.

Quite an accomplishment but he's also one of the only top TEs to ever have a chance at playing for 2 teams. Most good/great players don't get that chance. No question how good he is though.

And with that Salary, just can't make it happen.

Salary isn't that out of line if we can guarantee 10 tds a year. Heck Joeckel got $8 mil, I'd rather 88 at $10 than Joeckel for $8.
