I remember when 9-7 felt like an excellent season.
We got what we deserved playing down to teams and being lousy in first half.

To avoid that we're going to have to part with some expensive but aging talent. Very tough thing to do.

But we sucked in the 90s so it's all good.

A winning record doesn't mean much when you were one of the Bowl favorites at the beginning of he year. So instead of say 12-4 or 13-3 and a bye, you're one game over .500 and packing.

Honest:

I was hoping we lost to the Eagles..only to get rid of any hope that we might have.
To me, this season, last season were not seasons to be proud of. Games were just no fun to watch.

But... 9-7... Dilly Dilly.
