Might as well hang onto guys we already have some investment in. Might be a future roster player or two on that list.

Carter and Noble are intriguing. I'd like to say Beavers is as well, but that's just foolish knowing Cable will be coaching him up.

For those who didn't click through:

The Seahawks signed six players to reserve/future contracts Tuesday, all of whom were on the team’s practice squad at the end of the season: tackle Isaiah Battle, guard Willie Beavers, quarterback Trevone Boykin, defensive back Alex Carter, receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. and defensive end Noble Nwachukwu.

I thought some folks liked Battle's potential.

The problem there is, since the Seahawks signed him to a contract, that means Cable does too.

None of them were fans of his last team.

The 2017 season is in the rear view mirror.

The building of a 90 man roster for 2018 continues.

What is with us signing mediocre-at-best kickers?

My guess is to bring competition in for other kickers they might pursue (which they failed to do last year). Maybe they're learning from their mistakes? Maybe I'm speaking too soon and this is another single candidate Walsh-style. I hope not but time will tell.
