I want to know whether this is a Paul Allen directive. Pete still wants to coach, but Paul told him the coordinators must go.

I'm not a huge Softy fan, but I do know him well enough to believe he would not just throw that against the wall without a damn good source.

Again....it makes no sense to me. Richard was the least of our problems IMO.

I’m all for this. Never been impressed with him as a DC.

Never had a problem with Kris. Given all our injuries, the fact that we fell to merely "decent" in our defensive stats isn't bad.

If uncle Paul mandated that, it would not have taken 10 days IMO.

Excited for a QB coach change too. Get someone young and creative to help Russell grow.

Impartial about KR getting fired, he's certainly not as good as Gus or Dan Quinn. Maybe finding someone fiery like Dan Quinn from college would be a nice change.

Well, regardless what they do, plenty of people will be mad about it, so there is that :)
All kidding aside, I have no problem with them changing DC as well. Plenty of blown coverages and defense crapping the bed this season. People wanted massive changes, looks like that will happen. Good.

Only way it makes sense is if they're totally cleaning house IMO.

Actually, it makes perfect sense. Pete takes over at DC, and Cable at OC.

We all knew Cable must've had something incriminating on Pete to last this long, now he is just making his move and clearing out the competition for the HC job once Pete retires, which may be sooner rather than later in this scenario. :stirthepot:

Makes sense about Richard considering how much we've heard the rumors about the Seahawks looking to bring Gus Bradley back.

Bradley resigned with the Chargers yesterday.

I don't have a huge problem with Richard, but he doesn't seem to command the same respect and fire from his players as Bradley and Quinn did.

That's a hard thing to quantify, but from the outside that's my two cents about Richard as a leader.

They just had Softy on the phone (he's on later in the day), and house cleaning was the exact term he used. I still have not heard my top name on the list though so of course I'm nervous he in slides under the hatchet somehow.

But my common sense side would agree, they are doing a thorough house cleaning.

Yea, but Bradley just signed a new 3 year deal with the Chargers last night.

Anyone else find it "ironic", that the 2 people Sherman went after are now gone (as it appears)???

I never liked how Sherman handled that, but i don't question he may well have had good reasons.

If we're stealing Atlanta's coordinators anyway, I wouldnt mind Marquand Manuel. Love the way Atlanta's defense plays.
