Interesting.

Wonder if it’ll be in a Seahawks jersey.

Unless he is 100% healed with no risk of sever damage then why risk it?

They are competitors and have done this their whole life, They as in Kam and Cliff.

They are relatively young as well, the mentality about being told you can't do something pushes you to prove people wrong.

The Money.

The comradery of the team or being on a team.

The thinking of I have unfinished business and things to do yet.

All or one but it all has to be there in some level.

Not surprising. A ton of former players struggle massively adjusting to life post NFL. I doubt many of them want to just walk away when they don't have to.

God I sure hope so cliff was a warrior for us, but I wish some of these athletes look at their future instead. So much to live for besides football

I tried to return to Kung Fu after my leg got pretty wasted when a car t-boned me on my motorcycle. It didn't work out because my ankle pretty much doesn't twist, but I wasn't giving up without trying. So I fully get why Avril is doing this. Hopefully it'll work out for him.

Well, that's awkward. Now we have to start talking again about whether he'll be up to his previous years of production, all the while feeling guilty for holding him to it after that horrific accident.

Hoping for a rebound. He wasn't terribly great before the injury.

Chancellor is the one I want back.

Isn't this the final year of his extension?

Jordan Reed may earn the spot above him. Compete for your position.

That's one way to minimise his hits. Move him to Tight End!!

He provides $7m in cap space. I'm pretty sure he is going to get cut if he does try to return.

I don't think there's any question as to if Avril wants to come back. Same with Kam. It's not a question as to if either wants too though. I also think there's some misleading titles to this topic where there's an indication where each says that they are as a matter of fact. It's obvious that both know that there are obstacles and milestones.

That's not to say that I don't like the fortitude. I love it, but that's not the whole of it. The thought of seeing one of them down with no arms or legs moving is terrible. The money doesn't matter at that point.

1. The desire to compete, or

2. Bad financial management.
