My take, Kraft, Belicheck, and Brady sold their souls to the Devil. There's no way they should be so lucky, year after year, after year. It wasn't just that Superbowl, or that game. Starting from the Tuck Rule, Satan, or Santa, has been loading the dice in New England's favor. Just look at last year vs Atlanta.
