A lot of people point to 2015 when they want to say RW is a top 3-5 QB.
OP has posted charts showing how much better he was in almost every part of
his game that year and the stats don't lie in this case.
I know this was a year where it was a lot of no huddle shotgun plays with no
Beast(injured) and then came that Carolina game(back to same old offense)
for first half anyway.
I just wonder if this is an offense where RW should be doing out of strength
and why we haven't gone back to it?I love the no huddle part so the defense
cannot rotate and it keeps them off balance.
You can run the clock down without hiking it early and if D trys to time the
snaps you can mix those for offside calls.
This offense and game manager type is the only two offenses I want to see
RW playing under.
I don't think he excels at any other kind and you cannot force him to do so.

I would consider last years O-LINE a slight upgrade over the one in 2015. I don't think it's anything Russ is or isn't doing. I believe the league as a whole has figured out how to limit his production and contain him. Hopefully this new coaching staff can make the proper adjustments to allow RW to be electric again. If not it's time we as a fanbase except that Wilson's early success was due to the league just not being ready for this stye of QB. Now they are imo.

100% on bevel. Watching the games on TV, I (never played a down of actual organized football in my life) knew from the formation and people exactly what play was coming. If I could figure it out that easily, the opposing D could too. The no huddle shotgun plays at least gave the opposing D less time to study the formations.

+1, I have very little athletic ability. But, from my seat, I would sit there and tell my wife what play was coming. And at a high percentage, it happened. A fan shouldn't be able to predict so easily what is coming.
It's not all on Bevell, I mean look at that horrific O Line. But I'm looking forward to Cabevell being gone, and seeing some changes.
