Just curious what you think the craziest Seahawk stat ever was. IMO the 1985 season where they were 8-8 and won 2 then lost 2 and repeated that scenario the entire season was pretty incredible. What others are out there?

63 takeaways in 1984. That's just under 4 per game and 2nd most in NFL history. Ridiculous.

Winning a game by some score that has never happened in NFL history every year since Pete has been here. At least I still think that's the case. Even if it ended last year, it feels like most impossible stat of all.

And the rushing yards by our running backs last year. Crazy pathetic.

Winning only 2 games in '92 while also having the NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

I think it's crazier that the media even knew a player existed in Seattle on a 2-14 team, let alone voted for him as DPOY.

Crappiest stat ever?
-7 yards in total offense vs Rams in `79.
Impossible for me to delete it from my memory.

Having the fastest score in Superbowl history, 12 seconds into the game with a safety.

Then scoring at the beginning of the second half, taking 12 seconds off the clock on a kick return

Everything too slow, too short Steve Largent did for Seattle.

Not to mention one of the most brutal hits on film.

Scoring 150 points in 3 games (vs Arizona, at Buffalo, vs SF) was amazing. 2012 season, I think.
Yeah that was pretty cool!

Having the #2 and #3 players with the most fumbles in NFL history both played for the Seahawks.

Warren Moon 161
Dave Krieg 153

Man I hated when Krieg broke the record.

The Colts game continued the streak last season.

Didn't Alexander have a streak of having at least a 10 yard carry in an insane amount of consecutive games?

I think he has the record for most runs where he COULD have had 10 yards, but avoided a hit and ran out of bounds

"With the 16th pick in the 1991 NFL Draft the Seattle Seahawks select.......Dan McGwire quarterback San Diego State."

The guy played in about ten games over four years and threw for two TDs.

Two crazy NFL records.

41-consecutive games without losing by more than seven (7) points from November 13, 2011 until September 4, 2014. It's 46-consecutive games when including the playoffs.

85-consecutive games without losing by more than ten (10) points from November 6, 2011 until December 4, 2016. Or 95-consecutive games if you include the playoffs,

Hopefully, the Seahawks can create a new streak going forward.

Full back Derrick Coleman was the first legally deaf offensive player in NFL history.
