We've all seen the Malik McDowell reports about how he's expected to be released. I think we're 8 months removed from the accident. Can one of you cap guys explain the positives and drawbacks as it relates to releasing him?
Seems like it would be a real shame to release him if the cost isn't much, and then see him come back in a year or whatever on another team and be a contributor...
