Fast, long arms, throw him into the competition at FS. Another Texas kid who can learn behind Earl Thomas.

6'3 200 with 34 inch arms. 4.45 40. Dude will be playing corner, I can almost guarantee it. Prototype for Pete.

I suspect this could be a developmental project. Not unlike that of looking at Richard Sherman behind Byron Maxwell a few years back. Looking forward to seeing which side they look at Flowers. Intriguing pick.

I don't know if it matters.

Was Sherman "good" coming out of Stanford?

If he was good by most standards he'd have been gone before the 5th.

In short...I have no idea... ;)

Damn, he has long arms!
Reminds me of more athletic Kam, coming out of college

No. He was a converted WR and only spent a year or two at CB - was clearly still learning that position.

And, he wasn't an instant hit for us either. I remember watching him during training camp/pre season, and he made a lot of big mistakes. Got turned around, struggled with his footing, etc. He flashed from day one, but as a prospect, I found Sherman as a high upside work-in-progress. It didn't take long for him to figure it out, but he earned that, and he wasn't an A+ prospect.

Could we have replaced our top tier 5th rounder CB with another? That would be pretty cool....
