Not sure why my thread got locked? Was trying to start an on going thread for all training camp discussion and updates over the next month or so?

Anyway, who are the local beat writers? Do they live tweet updates from practice? Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

You can get an answer by privately PMing a mod. I’m not a mod, but I assume it is because the thread was too general. Most of the threads here have more specific topics related to training camp.

A training camp thread for the Miami Dolphins would probably go on to the Miami Dolphins website. if you're intent on posting it here for some reason, it would go on the NFL website.

In other words, there already was a thread active which he provided a link to before locking your thread. As for local beat writers, I tend to gravitate towards http://sports.mynorthwest.com/ but there are other great beat writers:

Ya, I just posted the Fins thread as an example of the type of thread I was trying to replicate. You guys didn’t seem to do one so I thought I’d create one. There seemed to be very topic specific threads (this for instance was about posting a video about Day 2) but not a general training camp discussion thread with live updates from the local beat writers at practice, etc, talk about the practices as they go on, etc...

Appreciate the links. Are there specific writers that specifically cover the Seahawks that I should follow their twitter accounts during practices?
