Making a move for Rodgers-Cromartie would not necessarily mean that they have doubts about Maxwell, once you note that the depth is perhaps a little thin right now, especially with Mike Tyson moving back over to safety.

To what end and at what price I wonder? I can't imagine the contract would be worth that muc and on top of that, he's not system schooled. A lot of older vet CBs just don't do wel with us.

But what does this guy and Carolina got to do with this subject? That Carolina might pursue him??... if that's the case , hopefully he goes with the Hawks instead. Can never have a good amount of slot corners.

Carolina has interest in DRC also.

He's not a slot corner, and slot corner is the one corner spot that's pretty much locked down with Justin Coleman.

I think the Seahawks might move DRC to free safety should they sign him. He has the size to play safety at 6'2 and 203 pds. They can keep Max and Griffin at the corners, McDougald at SS, and DRC at FS. This gives them a veteran secondary which they need since they are quite unproven at the DL in terms of pass rush.

He's not a slot corner, and slot corner is the one corner spot that's pretty much locked down with Justin Coleman.

I'm pretty sure he played slot last season.

DRC could play inside and outside ad was fantastic in 2016. The Giants were a dumpster fire last season so it's hard to tell if his production falling off was entirely his own fault. Wouldn't be surprised if he's just getting old and losing his athleticism though.
