Pete, John, Russ and the word "cool".

Ever notice that in many of the interviews of Pete, John and now Russ they use the word "cool" way more then the average person? I think it started with Pete, then John picked it up and now I'm hearing Russ use it. It's almost like they are all going out of their way to use "cool" and trying to create and put off the same vibe\aura. Whatever the case it's a little odd IMO but as long as they perform its cool to me.

You ever notice how JS calls his draft picks “partner” when he calls them on selection.

“We’re going to go ahead and select you at number 46 partner, you cool with that”
“Come on in here and kick some ass. OK partner? Sounds good partner, here’s coach Carroll”.

I love Russell to death, but he reminds of something a friend said recently;

It's those lame qualities that make him endearing.

He may not be cool but he has ice water in his veins on the football field and that's all I care about.

BTW is it cool to use "lame" anymore or is that shaming and bullying paralyzed people?
