Hill had been a serious contender to win the only fullback job out of training camp but a shoulder injury, that head coach Pete Carroll said simply wasn't responding well enough to get the runner/blocker back on the field, eventually led to his downfall. Still, the Seahawks will keep him in town somewhat because the rookie passed through waivers on Tuesday and reverted back to the team's Injured Reserve. Not surprising he cleared waivers. With the lack of fullbacks used in the league in the first place and the fact he's injured.

Glad he's still here but I would have only been surprised if someone picked him up.
