Well I didn’t think it was possible to be more jealous of Paul Allen, till now. God I love WWII era aircraft.

OMG - You still have a Mosquito flying. Always wanted to see that in the air!

I have hanging on my wall as I look up from my desk a framed 3 foot by 2 foot war photo of three P40s with Chinese makings flying in formation over China. They are of the 1st American Volunteer Group (AVG) which was a unit of the Chinese Air Force under the command of Claire L. Chennault. That framed photo serves as a daily reminder that a team of people with thought out tactics, plan and commitment can prevail and accomplish the impossible.

Those were made out of wood and you had crazy Brits flying them.
On the China pic..If I recall members of the Black Sheep including
Boyington flew for China before U.S got in.."The Flying Tigers" :2thumbs:

That's right, Pappy and others cut their teeth on the P-40s before forming the VMA-214 using (and dominating in) used F4U Corsairs...Building a giant RC Corsair that Pappy flew right now...

(and to keep this Seahawks-related, I can't believe what a bad ass owner we have in Paul Allen!)
