I know what you mean Montana by being underwhelmed.

Why is JR Sweezy on the team if he can't play...the dude has been sidelined since he put ink on his contract. Now McDougald is sidelined. This is the one preseason game you want starters to play.

The good news is that this is the Vikings.

Cousins has really struggled out of the gate.

This is not Rivers or anyone close. It should be really good for the defense to get their confidence back. This should make losing our potential starting safety less worrisome.

The bigger issue is our offense trying to score red zone TDs against that Vikes defense.

Not worried about the offense at all.

This team can be very good when you take the leash off them. But we need that done in the 1st qtr not the 4th.

The defense I am very worried about.

It's preseason. The Rams haven't even played starters so far. And may not play Goff at all in the 3rd preseason game.

If guys are nicked up, let em rest. This is a dress rehearsal and talent evaluation part of the season. Worry about how the team fares when the bullets are real.

Yeah, now that they've changed the cutdown rules, the old system is not quite as strongly etched in stone. It's not like there's a bunch of bubble players that they have to find playing time in the pre-season for. All 90 guys-injuries aside- are available all 4 games.
