Uncle Will even beat out Gronk for most fantasy points yesterday. :2thumbs:

People who watched the Huskies knew Dissly could catch the ball and RAC.

The "he's a great blocker" meme was true, but didn't tell the whole story. I'd say he was poorly scouted by a lot of the national media.

LOL... I put in a waiver claim for him on both my fantasy teams, but since I won I probably won't get him.

Does anyone with access to the all-22 film have an answer for why we didn't even seem to have him on the field in the 2nd half??

He was killing them in the 1st half and then he just seemingly vanished at the half.

I know Denver must have made adjustments for him but we didn't even try to get the ball into him again, meanwhile, Russ is throwing to Marshall with triple coverage. So it couldn't just be being covered, he is a big guy and can shield the defender away with his body.

I looked for him at the snap in a lot of possessions in the 2nd half and did not even see him out there. Did he get hurt?

Why was Vannett out there on single TE plays when Dissly is both a better blocker and better receiver?

(In fact, why is Vannett out there period...but that is another question)

Now that I have to retire my Kam Chancellor jersey, this might need to be my next jersey choice.

"Coaches Film" typically is released on Wednesdays. Grades released before then should be viewed with a healthy dose of skepticism.

But wait, I thought this was a "horrible pick"
Yeah, right. He's going to be a contributor all season, outstanding draft pick.

Just my take but it could be that they werren't worried about him in their gameplan and that opened him up for RW to hit him. But after he lit them up they covered him better. The All 22 might shed some light on it but it'll be hard to prove.

Didn't he have a 2nd half play where he was open for a big gain but Russell missed him?

Hopefully he's this good for more than a game. Even if he's half that good and a really good blocker, he'll be huge.

It's always cool when a player shows something more than what he is really known for. Nobody ever talks about his hands, but the times he did get the ball at UW, he just caught it, and made it look easy.

Dissly is a solid old-school style TE and adds some much-needed grit to a Seahawks team that looks a bit soft these days.

That said Graham is doing just fine in Green Bay. His team is 1-0.

We're not.

The TD to Dissly was a beautiful play call. It made me feel really grateful for a new OC.

Hopefully, they can stay with that sort of play calling. Use Carson runs and read option runs by Wilson to set up play action passing to Dissly, Marshall, etc.

Shottys offense always has a TE and RB catch at least 50 balls/season.

I thought that TE would be Dickson.
