The Seahawks’ lone new injury reported from Monday night’s 24-17 loss to the Bears in Chicago was to center Justin Britt, who injured his shoulder in the contest, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said postgame. Joey Hunt saw play time in Britt's absence.

“He was the one guy that (was injured),” Carroll said of Britt. “He banged his shoulder and we don’t know exactly what it is yet."

Carroll also commented on the status of several Seahawks who missed Monday’s game to injury, including linebackers Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright, receiver Doug Baldwin, cornerback Tre Flowers, and more.

“We’ll see some guys come back,” Carroll said, looking ahead to his team's 2018 home-opener next Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys at CenturyLink Field. "I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Tre back, Bobby back, K.J. back — I don’t know if Doug will make it — D.J. (Fluker), all those guys have a chance to come back next week, and we need them.

A minimum of injuries is always good news. Getting Joey Hunt some meaningful snaps was a plus. He just keep grinding on. Looks like they have an opportunity to go into the Dallas game healthier and stronger. All in all a good report.
