Asking any quarterback to stand in a nonexistent pocket is asinine. I don't care how much Pete wants a ball control offense. The line doesn't have the tools to make that happen.

But we're gonna run into stacked boxes to show them we can! That is literally what Pete/Schott think is the right thing to do and its similar to how Jeff Fisher viewed offense before he was replaced.

Offense thinks it still has Marshawn with route trees from the 1970s. I think the pass to Jaron Brown with 24 seconds left was the first slant I've seen in 3 years, which at the time without a timeout didn't make sense. The fact we have such a mobile QB with a rocket arm and aren't incorporating college style plays the NFL is evolving to, to maximize his ability, makes my head explode.
