For the Cardinal game this weekend! If Doug can play at 90% of his usual self. Baldwin and Lockett could change our passing game a bit, love to see some two TE (Will and Vanette) with Doug and Lockett.

Russ finally got his security blanket, that is good news.

Hopefully an improved receiving Corp will help our OL also.

Edit of title by staff.
Side note. DB is back at practice, he has not been listed as playing vs the Cardinals

No, he hasn’t been ruled to be available for this weekend. But he is practicing.

Would love to have him back if he is at no risk for return. I would rather he miss another game and be here for the rest of the season than be put to work too early and risk another injury.

Not to say the Cards game should be a given.

But it should be a given.

Not sure why we need either the Wolf Greys or Baldwin for this one and I would prefer to give Baldwin one more week just to assure the healing is better and injury risk lower.

Risking Baldwin against the Cards seems hasty.

Why bring him back for B league ball?

We just saw the Bills beat the Vikings and the Lions beat the Pats. We need him out there if he can go.

We also have no idea what benefit one more week would do in terms of ability or reinjury. Could be extremely marginal, if at all.

Personally I would like to see him get another week to heal up. If we can't beat these Cardinals because Baldwin isn't suited up, well...

How much time do you determine is enough? He isn't going to be close to 100% for rest of the year.
On other hand Mr.Glass can't even warm up to play without getting hurt

The Bills game should have been a given for the Vikings.

The Lions game should have been a given for the Patriots.

How'd those work out?

It would be incredibly foolish for any team to think any game is a given. None of them are, even for some of the best teams in the league.

History tells us that we should be wary with rookie quarterbacks in their first game. Perfect trap game opportunity.

If Doug is good to go, that would be a big plus.

Mike Glennon, he's nothing and just about kicked our ass at home, Austin Davis worked us pretty good with the Rams, don't know what it is about QB's we have no history with but they come out firing seemingly all the time and yes look like a Tom Brady Clone.

"B league ball" ?? The Hawks are in that league until they win a road game . Baldwin or not ...I expect a brawl on Sunday. Anyone that thinks the Hawks can look past any team on their schedule will eat their words. :irishdrinkers:

we really, really need him. Russ trusts Marshall quite a bit already, add Baldwin to the mix with Carson opening things up, we should be fine offensively

Doug, Marshall and Lockett. Yes please. Brown in there to add some speed etc. Add that to the threat of Dis and a decent running game. Pretty solid

Better to play it safe than sorry.

I think we should be able to handle the Cards well without him.

Limited play time for him.

It’s a hard decision. This is a must win game. We cannot lose a “winnable” division game during a rebuilding season.

I think it depends on how good Baldwin looks in practice, and how the doctors estimate the risk of a setback vs. the benefits of another week of rest.

I could easily see him getting 10-15 reps or so just to check him out.

I'd be surprised if it's more than that.
