Please praise Frank Clark

  • Clark, the defensive end and Seattle’s only proven sack man, played 54 of the defense’s 66 snaps. He had been in the hospital twice in the week leading up to the game, including as late as Friday. He took eight intravenous treatments tying to regain his hydration, and he lost 12 pounds.

Lost 12 pounds in a week after food poisoning, but dude suited up and played. That's toughness and love of game. I will give the game ball to him.

  • Tough to come and play with that going on. Had a few good moments abut was definitely losing some steam...for obvious reasons.

  • pay the man...he's our only legit threat up front. I love the way Reeds playing up the middle but in terms of pressure, Franks it. Young and in his prime, pay him.

  • Wow. That is impressive. To even play alone yet be any kind of a factor.

  • KJ has already been payed. And quite Frank-ly(heh) we don't have much of a pass rush without him.

  • Clark is a monster. Glad he's a Seahawk. I hope Dion Jordan and others take note. Could use more guys like Frank Clark on the team. He got no help yesterday and still made an impact. He is the Seahawk pass rush.

  • I’m beginning to change my tune on Clark.

I don’t see him as being an “elite” defender, like the JJ Watts or Joey Bosas of the world, but he’s shown enough to justify an extension. I’d give him an extension in the Bennett/Avril range. That would work for me.

  • Clark is very solid and seems to conduct himself like a professional.

    Hope we keep him around.
