If Pete is losing his optimism, that doesn't bode real well for our injury situation IMO.

Hopefully it's something else bugging him.

Well, Pete looking out of sorts this week will only excite those around here who want him gone to answer for The Play, so it's not all bad.

According to 538 the loss to the Chargers took our playoff chances from something like 52% to 38%. Pete looked appropriately bummed about that to me, especially due to the way we lost with some unforced errors and iffy calls.

His Wednesday press conference is up now and he seemed about average. Didn't want to speculate about Fluker or McDougald's injuries which could be a bad sign but he never likes to talk about that stuff on Wednesdays.
