Pep talk to Pete

A lot of us are down on the Seahawks after the loss to the Chargers. Keep your head up guys. Here’s a pep talk letter to Pete from Mike Salk.

If Pete is losing his optimism, that doesn't bode real well for our injury situation IMO.

Yeah, He's probably just as bummed as we all are. Hopefully Mcdougald, Carson, and Fluker can make it this Sunday..

Well, Pete looking out of sorts this week will only excite those around here who want him gone to answer for The Play, so it's not all bad.

Then we’ll definitely be in rebuild mode...

According to 538 the loss to the Chargers took our playoff chances from something like 52% to 38%. Pete looked appropriately bummed about that to me, especially due to the way we lost with some unforced errors and iffy calls.

His Wednesday press conference is up now and he seemed about average. Didn't want to speculate about Fluker or McDougald's injuries which could be a bad sign but he never likes to talk about that stuff on Wednesdays.

The loss of Paul Allen took a lot out of all of us.
