Is it me or were there more packers fans than usual in the stadium last night?

I was watching the game on TV and felt like it. How did it look in the stadium?

There are ALWAYS a TON of Packer Fans....but it did seem like a few more than usual - Still Seahawks Fans WAY outnumbered them - from what we could tell a lot of fans may have sold their tickets to make a quick buck - Weeknight games are also tough as many Season Ticket Holders come from well outside of the immediate Metro area and they just can't make it in on a weeknight.

Yes, there were more than the "normal" amount of Packer fans in attendance.....and about half of them were quite obnoxious! The fellow in the row in front of us turned around mocking us Hawks fans when they scored that first touchdown. I felt like slugging him in the chops......but when you are 76 it is not wise to hit a 30 yr old! Besides....I would have been thrown out of the stadium!!!

Yes, they were very vocal when the Hawks were on Offense, "Go Pac-Go"!

It was ridiculously loud when they made damaging plays. Kinda embarrassing for a while. Thankfully we shut them up. I don’t remember them cheering much during the last quarter.

You could hear a very loud "Go Pack Go!" on the TV broadcast throughout the game. Maybe it was just the position of the microphone but it sounded like there was a large Packer presence.

I'm not sure there were more than "usual". There were a ton at the Fail Mary game. Less at the Post SB XLVIII Season opener. And probably the most at a preseason game a few years before that.

People from Wisconsin know enough to leave Wisconsin but stay very loyal. So most I encountered were locals that knew about making noise.

The problem I felt this time compared to the Fail Mary game is that some of the Seahawk fans in attendance thought that the best way to shut them up when we were on offence was to yell louder. Noobs.

I know the OL was complaining about simulated snaps but most of the False starts seemed to come when the Packers fans and stupid seahawk fans started making noise for our offence and they didn't seem prepared for a silent count.

We all think its great when 12's travel and take over an opponents stadium. It's a bit disheartening to see another team do it to your stadium, But kudos to Pack fans for accomplishing their goal. Still didn't work out for them in the end... again.

And Golden Tate caught it.

I didn't think there were more Packer fans than typical, but they were more vocal. Yes, you could hear "Go Pack Go" which to them is like our "SEA......HAWKS" chant.
Of course you could hear that on TV as well because they said that chant while we were on O and the home crowd relatively quiet.
Their fans travel very well.

Back in the old days, before Holmgren, when we played the Packers there may have truly been more Packers fans than Hawks fans.

There were a ton of fans in from out of town roaming the streets in the lead up to the game. Great way to justify a long weekend in Seattle if you ask me.

I believe they've finally learned when to cheer! A few years ago I went to a Seahawks/Packers game in Seattle( fail mary). There was a Packers fan seated directly in front of us and every time their offense took the field we'd start hollering and screaming as loud as we could. She apparently didnt understand that her team wanted quiet on offense because she kept joining in. It was hilarious!

I have a family member that was sitting a few rows away from this guy and apparently security approached him and asked that the put the sign away which he refused and they escorted him out.

I've seen that it doesn't take much to be escorted out of the stadium. It can be just one complaint....and you are out!!!

Wow - that sign is so disrepectfull - glad he got the boot

I met quite a few Green Bay folks on Thursday - the majority were very nice and loved being in Seattle for the game

I know all fan bases have "those" fans but wow, that guy is lucky he didn't get his ass kicked outside the stadium for that one.

Good. That’s classless behavior on his part.

It was maybe 15% Packer fans in my area which is quite a lot for a visiting team. The weeknight game played into that a bit and the Packers always travel well.

To agree with what somebody else stated - the reason why we could all hear "Go Pack Go" is that the Hawks fans were quiet because we were on offense. It wasn't nearly loud enough to cause false starts or anywhere comparable to crowd noise in a road game. The Hawks crowd however, WAS too loud at times when we were on offense. The importance of the game got to some of the newer fans and there was a lot of nervous energy particularly in the fourth quarter.
