I'm done with trades for now, build from the draft.

We got CC and David Moore in the 7th rd (not to mention many others), there are plenty of good players to be had.

And, w/o RW we would SOL.

Russell Wilson to Oakland for Carr & two 1sts.

Would y'all do it?

Do you honestly think he's capable of the the kind of efficiency Russ plays with?

Unless we get better at the position, there's no way we can let Russ go. He's the QB, not a fullback or WLB.

I wouldn't trade wilson for anyone. He's a proven winner and will win big again.

I love trade ideas but your going to get at least 3 first rounders for Russ, don't sell him short.

Can we just trade Wilson for Luck, straight across? I keep hearing that guy can do no wrong.

But why though? The only argument against keeping Russ is that he isn't worth 30+ million a year, especially under Pete. You're not only trading Russ for a QB that is objectively worse, but also a QB that has an extremely high salary. No, no, and no.

So with that trade you end up with a QB costing you 25 million a year hampering your cap and he's been terrible since he broke his leg. And 2 draft picks which might get you one stud player and one mediocre/washout.

So is Russ worth an average QB, a very good player and a bad player? We have shown you can remove 6 stud players from this defense and still win. Are you sure you can win without Wilson?

Pretty massive gamble that would cost everyone in the FO their job if it failed.

If Russ were older and the team needed an overhaul it might make sense but the Hawks have done the heavy reconstruction already and are just a couple players away. They aren't the Mariners. The coaches and city love Russ. The relationship is solid.
