I was thinking that the big balls on that 4th and 3 TD throw belonged to Russell, not so much Pete, for deciding on and making that throw in the heat of the moment.

The difference between those pictured and Russell's? Well, Russell's are the same size, but they gotta be brass or iron or something.

Just so glad Russell's oversized anatomical feature didn't interfere with his movement and scrambling on that last big throw to Lockett.

Loved the fourth down but the third down was horrid. Why no RB in backfield on short third down and obvious four down territory???

Reminds me of the 49ers NFC Championship TD to Kearse.

Seriously gutsy throw by Russ, because if DM drops that ball we probably don't win the game, I'm glad he caught it but damn that was very very risky being as we only needed a few yards for a first down. No pun intended but Russ literally can't pass up on those one on one match-ups with some of his guys.

Question as I was listening to the game until last Church service: was Griffin’s non-head turn pass interference call more or less egregious than the Panthers CB? It seemed to me the Panthers CB was more focused on not allowing David Moore to get his 2nd hand free rather making any type of football play on the ball.

That was a pretty easy call, considering we had NO answer for the Panthers offense all damn day.

I wonder if they would have called pass interference had Moore not caught it. The DB was blatantly holding him.
