Oh man, it's like a funeral over there. They have basically thrown dirt on their team. Saying, Kirk, is going to fold like a cheap suit.

Hard to read know it all fans, even when it is not our own ones. Declaration statements are so ridiculously juvenile. Knee jerk morons. Their team has some seriously good talent. I know it is a hard season and IMO they shouldn't have dropped Keenum but it isn't like Cousins is dirt.

They are going to loose Monday but even then they are still not our of it. Maybe it takes years of disappointment to be a rational football fan in the NFL.

Holy crap those kids over at 247 are some depressing, no confidence jokers. I like it.

That's a sad collection of forums. Maybe if they consolidated all the users into one they could actually have something active and worth visiting.

I really hope we don't get their hopes up... But I think we're gonna take 'em. Then we'd be 8-5. Who'da thunk before this season started?? It would be first time in awhile where I'd scream "Draft Defensive backfield" for a change. But just to be safe, draft one more O-lineman as well.

No we need a Elite QB and get rid of this 3rd round project, or so I have read in many many threads lately.


Seriously I think we need a true Leo again.

I just looked to verify he hasn't won any. And even worse than that, the Lions have only won a single playoff game in the last 60 years. The Lions can't even win their division with Elite QB Matt Stafford.

Maybe because they are in the same division and the Vikes have been there more than the Lions. I dunno tho...carry on.

Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson retired at the peak of their primes because of Lions futility.

Rumor has it that Calvin was extremely nervous about his ELITE quarterback THE Matthew Stafford getting injured and being exposed as a fraud third rate wide-out. :mrgreen:

Viking fans truly believe they are destined to fail. It gets worse for them as their hopes rise.

Just look at last season: Diggs td as time expires, chance to play a home super bowl and break an 0-4 record only to get stomped by philly's back up qb AFTER going up a td.

You dont have to travel far in their history to see more. Walshs miss, 4 fumbles against the saints, 41 donut against the Giants, the miss against the Falcons. Literally dozens more stomach punches.

Their fans (i walk amongst them) just expect devastating losses... and then get reminded by the swarm of Packers fans that live amongst them who has more rings.

Its actually entertaining

That said, radio guys are pretty confident rhe Vikings win Monday. They love RW, dont believe in the Hawks though.

But... (theres always a but with them) something is off with the Vikings and they know it could be one of those games
