I know it was 2007 and it seems like forever ago. But... remember that time Lofa Tatupu embarrassed Andy Reids offense? Magic! 3 INTs and total destruction of the Eagles. GO HAWKS.

That was a fun one. Lofa was a beast. Wished he could have stayed healthy and had a longer career.

Koy Detmer at QB

Was wondering.

I at first thought this was the 42-0 game. I think lofa had a pick 6 in that one.

Detmer started that one too if i remember

What are you 2 babbling about? Didn't you even bother to watch the video?

AJ Feeley was the Eagles QB in this video.

Lofa was the best middle lineback we've ever had, until Bobby. Lofa was a beast.

Yep. And a comparison between Lofa and Bobby illustrates beautifully just how generational a player Bobby Wagner is. He will be remembered with the likes of any of the top Seahawks players in history, and not just by Seattle fans.

But yeah, that game was amazing. Loved every second of it. Tatupu was certainly mannnnnnn and rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that night!

(You old timers here will get that reference.)

Is Lofa still the assistant LB Coach? Or, is he now the head LB coach?

He's not coaching at all. He left as part of the mass coaching exodus in the offseason.

Yeah, I coulda sworn I saw 2005 somewhere in this thread previously. Maybe it got edited out. Or maybe I imagined it.

He left after the 2016 season in February of 2017.

Pump your brakes there hotshot... the video indicated it was from 2005. The game was actually 2007. Detmer did start the 2005 game. The OP was corrected.

So thats what we were "babbling" about.

2005 was the 42-0 game and there were numerous picks. One of them followed a 9 minute opening drive that broke their back. i was in DC for work, in a bar where a bunch of Redskins fans were and I was wearing a BRAND NEW 51 jersey that just came available. You should have heard them arguing about the hawks but cheering them on for beating Philly.

One guy said "The AFC is better than the NFC right now but that doesn't matter because Seattle is going to destroy their opponent in the Super Bowl, we aren't beating that team".

Guy number two "The Seahawks are frauds, they always have a bunch of lucky breaks to win football games, they haven't shown the ability to get out there and dominate" Guy number 3 sitting at the bar "dude, they are showing YOU right NOW on national TV, they are for real"

After the group caught my jersey, they were fun and friendly but i had the feeling that i needed to exit before their vision was blurred.

the 2007 game i was in Costco. watching the finish. it was cold, cold cold and it was much closer. funny that we took it to the eagles so brutally though.
