He hasn't played much because of knee issues. If his knee keeps bothering him, then the Hawks should shut him down for the season. If he plays, he might be a liability.

Now that Kendricks is gone for the year, the answer is no. Even if it takes until January to get him right. Keep him on the inactive list. We are still inactivating healthy players right now, so there is no rush to shut him down.

Not with Kendricks out unless KJ is crippled to the point of his career in jeopardy or suffering serious pain.

Since we don't actually know what's going on with his injury, the answer is:
