Yeah, almost 3 full games if you consider that he only played about half of 2 games while missing 2 full games.

Edit - Chris Carson finishes #5 in rushing yards:

1. Ezekiel Elliott - 1,434
2. Saquon Barkley - 1,307
3. Todd Gurley - 1,251
4. Joe Mixon - 1,168
5. Chris Carson - 1,151

Looks like Carson will finish just outside the top five:

1. Ezekiel Elliott - 1,434
2. Saquon Barkley - 1,307
3. Todd Gurley - 1,251
4. Joe Mixon - 1,168
5. Christian McCaffrey - 1,098
6. Chris Carson - 1,051

Ya think he will take being a top 10 back in the league as a 7th round pick.

And we have two other rushers with over 400 yards (and Russ has nearly that many).

Guess we fixed the run game. [emoji1]

Outstanding season. We don't make the playoffs without him. He proved a lot of doubters wrong who questioned his durability and more. Well done Chris.

He had 1,029 going in to today’s game. With the 122 today, that should put him at 1,151, not 1,051.

Thank you! My mistake!

Assuming Derrick Henry doesn't go for 185 tonight (he only had 10 yards on 3 carries thru the 1st quarter), Carson will indeed finish 5th in total rushing yards (and 4th in rushing yards per game), despite only playing in 14 games. He damn near caught Joe Mixon, too...less than 20 yards behind him. Mixon's 51 yard run vs. Pittsburgh this week was the difference.

The Hawks also finished with 1000, 500 (Davis), 400 (Penny) and 300-yard rushers (Wilson). I'm trying to confirm but I believe that's only happened twice before in league history. Were in not for Penny's injury in December, they would have had a 1000 yard rusher as well as TWO 500 yard rushers, which I'm not sure has ever happened in the NFL before (not that it matters since it ultimately didn't happen here either).

Entering this week the Hawks were first in the league in rushing and 4th in passing efficiency, the only team in the league to rank in the top 7 in both categories (let alone the top 4). Not bad for an OC whom everyone panned when he was hired.

Top 6 or 7 and I was one of the wait and see guys. Not quite a believer until watching him this year. With Gurley and Johnson going in the 13 14 mil range.I m afraid at what he might cost in a couple years.

Carson is a stud, for a 7th round pick he's overachieving, looks more like a 1st round pick imo

Top 5 and if he continues this production, you pay him market value. He's vital to our success.

You are right. His numbers are close to that running back in Dallas... :D . But when you look into Carson's numbers they're even more impressive. Carson missed two games and only had 5 games where he touched the ball 20 or more times. If he would have played in every game and touched the ball between 20-25 times a game. I think the title would have been his. Great season and a bright future.

At least some of that was intentional. They were monitoring his touches because of his injury history. I'm OK with that. We didn't need him as much in Sept/Oct as we do now.
