Hey I thought Deon Jordan had his best game of the year against KC. Then scratched against Cardinals. What is the scoop on him? Anyone know.

His knees are and will always be bad. He's like a Jordan Simmons, a pleasant talent but no one we should count on for consistent snaps.

He’s another in a long line of players with immense potential that injuries and self inflicted harm have reduced to being a shadow of their true potential. He suffered from both and his knees are pretty suspect now.

Frankly he was overpaid for what he delivered this season. Perhaps though with all the time off he may be able to show up in the post season game(s).

The dream of him realizing his true potential seems to be just that unfortunately.

Definitely the most frustrating cap expenditure of last off season.

Not sure why Jordan can never stay healthy and put it together, he's got all the talent in the world. He has to drive the defensive coaches crazy................no excuses either when he does play what with Reed and Clark soaking up most double teams.

Seattle rotates their guys in and out all season depending on not just their health, but also whom they think will be a good fit against the offense of the week. Pete talks about that all the time.

Poona Ford, Branden Jackson, Nazair Jones, and Rasheem Green have all been getting carouseled through the inactives list all season. Ford was a scratch for Weeks 10, 12, and 13. Wasn't really until December that he seems to have secured staying power on the roster.

I've actually been quite impressed with his pressurising of the QB. In situations with him, Clark and Reed in the game, our pass rush looks legit.

His name is spelled "Dion" and he's the CJ Prosise of the defense. Little impact when playing but always injured. Emergence of Jacob Martin has offset the need for Jordan to do anything, thankfully.

Strongly disagree they play different positions. Dion has a nice speed athleticism combo while Martin is a pure pass rusher.

Isn't Jordan assuming the role vacated by Michael Bennett? Michael Bennett provided a pass rush. So if he's in that role, then he's being counted on for the same thing, correct?

While Martin isn't playing the same position, he is offering a pass rush (something that Jordan hasn't been doing because he's oft injured) which is helping the team fill the void of that from Jordan's position. Along with Jordan, Rasheem Green has been non impactful as well (and oft injured). Both projected to replace Bennett.

Jordan is not getting dinged up week to week like Prosise. He has a chronic knee issue that the team has been carefully tending in order to keep him available. If it's similar to KJs perhaps some treatment and rest in the off season will get him back to health. It's going to be interesting to see if the Hawks make can effort to resign him.

Proly a full offseason with regenokine and regenokind. More recent stem cell research is showing drastic effect. If you take the opiods and shit out on the first part and replace that with maybe a certain oil....then another 1 year contract could definitely be worth it. Price might have to be just a tad above vet min. You'd have to check along the way and monitor, but that could net viable, faster results.
