That’s me but what a hat it is.

This is actually TheHat2.0

I made the first one during the 12-13 off season, and it made it’s debut @Houston in 13. (The shoeless Dick) comeback game.

That one has seen better days, many miles traveled, in/out of many airports and over stuffed bags. It was tired, so it’s been retired.

I couldn’t see myself attending the Dallas playoff game without “the hat”, so I made version 2.0

All Hat/No Cattle but what a hat it is.

The reality is, and part of the reason (small part) I made a 2.0 is, “the hat” was undefeated until the last game it attended.

That was the Saints game in NOLA

I figure after a five season haul of undefeated, a loss is good reason to start fresh.

I’m full of hope that this is the start of another 5 season run.

Don’t misunderstand, we don’t get to attend many games. Under normal circumstances we go to one home game and one road game per season, if the road trip is within driving distance.

We didn’t travel this season due to our daughter getting married this year. Those of you that have paid fo a wedding understand.

The hat is easy to make Brother.

The trick is getting your hands on the helmet decals.

The ones I used are the real deal, and were sourced from from an individual that must remain anonymous.

I have seen some knock offs on the big auction site but it’s been a while. Not sure if those are still available or not.

Really, the straw hat of your choosing, a can of spray paint, the decals, and a couple hours is all ya need.

It’s so simple, even I can do it.

I usually hang a 12 flag but I almost always get told to “take it down, or leave”.

I end up holding it.

As far as second level goes, have you seen the ticket prices?

I looked (very briefly) a a couple on the “front row” right by the Hawk bench. $1600 each.
I do ok but that ain’t even close to what my budget will allow.

I stretched my account as far as I could getting front row on the 2nd deck.
