This is play calling, Schotty calls the plays for the offense. If you cannot stay on the field on offense and have multiple 3 and outs over the course of the game you're going to lose to most good teams.
The thing that bothers me about Pete too is that I almost feel like he'd rather it be close than the Seahawks winning going away. I feel like this hamstrings the team with this type of philosophy.
I'm not sure how excited I am for next year, I'm tempered and I think our success is going to directly come from what kind of draft class we have. I just want us to be more proficient in the offense one of these years. I feel like it's pretty much the same every year now.
