I hope they bring in someone who can focus on making our linemen super strong and physical. Max brench press and overall explosiveness.

You look at our guys, Prosise, Darboh two that stand out who have been in IR more then on the field, then Lacy last year and Penny this year being not in the best of shape, all the Hamstring Injuries we get on players. Some are going to happen regardless, impact makes things move eventually, but things concerning flexibility and conditioning should not be a issue. They have been.

Some of the guys may be stashes also, we know how real world the hang nail injury is to put a player a year away is.

Providing links is a welcomed act of courtesy.

This is a big off season deal. It means a new program is in the offering. Seahawks fire entire strength and conditioning coaching staff, head trainer Donald Rich >>>

I recommend lots of pool work and resistance training. Chris Carson volunteered that he has bought in.

The team had a ton of preventable injuries going into the season. The number one reason is how they botched Doug's recovery from a "simple" knee surgery.

This actually happened yesterday, if you look in the stickied topic with players there is a post there about it.

THANK YOU JVILLE! Posters, please take note, posting a statement without a link is posting a rumor, which must be marked as such.

If you heard it on the radio or internet, state it as such and put it in your title. :snack:

Thank you, Ray

Hire this man. His name pretty much translates to no clowning around.

Hire Ichiro, name a person that was able to keep himself healthy and produce as long as he did. He did something right.

Pete would probably prefer someone who spoke good English.

It probably couldn't hurt to try a new approach. It's a continually evolving science. It's probably a good idea to bring in some fresh ideas.

My fear is Pete goes too new age and gimmicky as these guys seem to get traction at this level and they're terrible. Standing on a bosu ball and doing a squat is not the answer to the injury issues we've had.

Chargers kept having injury issues for YEARS. Every year major injuries and not just one but multiple. Yeah it is the NFL, but they kept being decimated and early in seasons way more than others (no statistical evidence just "feeling" and everyone else agreed on twitter so it MUST be so)

Changed strength coach two years ago, now in the mix among the last 8 standing...…….
