Mychal Kendricks' sentencing moved to April 4

I suppose that will be convenient...after all the Draft is a few weeks after and we would need that information before diving into it.

The 2019 NFL Draft will take place April 25-27 in Nashville's downtown district. The first round takes place April 25, and second and third rounds occur April 26. Rounds 4-7 close out the draft April 27.

Kind of sucks for Kendricks. Had it remained in January he'd (as well as teams) would have known his fate before free agency started. If he knew he'd be avoiding incarceration he could have signed a deal with some guarantees in it. Now with it being in April it'll be well after free agency has started and teams have filled their need elsewhere and he'll probably have to wait until then to get any offers. Or he could accept a deal somewhere that has zero guaranteed money in it.

They could still sign him with some clauses in the contract.

Not like he's Foster.

That blows. Definitely want any jail time start sooner than later.

I’m no legal expert but this seems like a plea deal could be in the works. They just needed some more time

I'm gonna make the prediction now that I think he won't spend a single day in prison. Just a hunch - no legal expert here either.
