The Rudy Play

I loaded up youtube this morning to put some background noise on while I do some work and the "Rudy play" came up on my front page. Having only seen the movie, I figured I'd give this a watch.

Now, you might think, "That's great dude, put it somewhere other than the Seahawks' main page." But there's a reason I put it here and there is, in fact, a Seahawks connection that I certainly never knew about (perhaps you more die hard fans did). Give it a watch and see if you can figure out why (it's only about 2 minutes in length).

Caught it. Didn't know he played for GT, guess I never thought much about it. I knew he was a player.

I re-listened to it to make sure I heard it right and then looked it up to make sure it wasn't just a person with the same name.

Our very own Steve Raible played in that game and has talked about it on 710 more then once

Ahh...Steve Raible. Al Cowlings is most famous for driving the slow white ford bronco with OJ Simpson in it than anything he did playing football.

Not really the same as the movie made it out to be..

Kind of looked like some Pro Bowl level blocking.
