I think Adam Rank nailed it for the most part.........I wouldn't put the Hawks in the top 3-4 teams in the NFC, but if some of these young kids turn out to be as good as we think they are, the O-line stays healthy, the young defense continues to improve and regain it's top 5 form, and we can continue to build on the nasty run game with Russell doing his thing?

I think we're in the mix come January.

I'm optimistic. Last year there was really something that popped about a handful of our draftees; this year, a much bigger percentage of the draft class can say that.

I am not much on predictions but I have a feeling that RW is going to affirm his status as the highest paid QB in the league with an MVP type season.

I agree......and I know we're all excited about Metcalf and the other rookies. But IMO the real sleeper this season is going to be the Hawk's O-line.

IF they can stay healthy, and that's a big if because it is a veteran group with guys who have missed time in recent years then it's going to be one of the best lines in the league. That means giving Russell something he hasn't really had in years, time.........and we all know what Russell can do with time, destroy defenses.

Good article. Vegas has the win line around 7.5 I think? I am betting the way over and going with 11-5. This team is trending upwards not laterally or down in any shape way or form. Wilson now being paid the most in NFL history is going to show the world why he was worth the money.

This season is going to be a hell of a lot of fun.

The problem with talking Super Bowl in regards to any one NFC team in a single season is the amount of competition. At this point in the off-season there are ten teams that look like legitimate contenders.

We're right in the middle of that but due to the broad field even the favorites are long shots. Trying to predict which team will make it through the gauntlet is akin to guessing which number is going to come up next in roulette.

IMO ....there are lots of sleepers this season ; but being a realist , I would settle for the Hawks to make the playoffs in any capacity...1st things 1st .
