I am really stoked to see how Metcalf does with pads in training camp. In particular ; Metcalf going against Griffin. I think Griffin will be scrutinized more this summer. If Metcalf can consistently man-handle Griffin ; that would be gr8 for Metcalf ; but what does that mean for Griffin. Should be interesting.

I'm interested to see the growth of Trey Flowers. I think we'll see the secondary will be much improved this year (At least that's my hope.)

No doubt, Flowers was really impressive for a rookie who played Safety in College. Not easy to make that transition to corner.

Lets be real....none of those scrubs can keep up with Metcalf.

How bout we leave it at that and not "Kearse" him with silly bold predictions please?

At a glance, I thought this was a thread about Merv Griffin.

You may be right . If Metcalf is as good as the hype ; and walks all over the secondary in camp ; then Carroll will be smiling over Metcalf ; but not so much over the secondary .

In practice ....of course...they will work him out with all the secondary for sure.

And at all of the WR positions, too.

Metcalf will push Flowers to the limit as split end, but it would be interesting to see how metcalf will as flanker facing our veteran left CB, be starting 7-8 yards behind the line.

Wouldn't surprise me if they focus Metcalf at one position for his rookie season. Pete talked in one of his pressers, I think it was, about Moore just now being ready to play all the WR positions.

Of all the reps we have seen from DK as of yet, I'm not sure any of them have come from the right side, especially on the outside.

Most of the reports from the Hawk beat writers have said they've seen Metcalf all over the place, including the slot.

How awesome would it be to finally have a big bodied strong receiver that can run quick slants and inside timing routes?..................err, other than hands of stone short Kearse or skinny WR's that get knocked off the ball easily by 180 lbs DB's in SUPER important games?
