What? I'm surprised there's no Dissly topic. On the surface he seemed to have a great day.. in fact he seems to be the TE we've all been waiting for much like Metcalf has been to our receiving team.

Though, really 1 game does not make the player, we'll see.

In five full career games, hes got 20 catches, for 213 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Pro Rate that over a season, and you've got 64 catches for about 700 yards and 14 touchdowns.

I would say that is trending well.

Actually, there has been some discussion. At least several in the game day forum.

But hey, he deserves the props. Had a very workmanlike game. Will be a presence, hopefully for a good long time.

Agree, Will was looking real good before his injury last year in week 4. We could see him make a name for himself this year if he stays healthy.

He is still rehabbing his knee as mentioned by Pete, so he will get better as the season goes along. He is the perfect TE imo.

He can block, catch, break tackles, works hard, non diva attitude, and as his knee gets stronger will be a deceiving deep threat down the seam.

Don't forget that Dissly did not even crack 200 yards as a rookie last season. Opponents shouldn't concern themselves with our TE group at all.

Uncle Will might be my new favorite Hawk.

We've been missing Zach Miller for a long time. That drought is over imo.

I think workmanlike describes Will very well.

As a receiver, hes a big, bumbling, white Bobby Engram.

Love the guy..He's still a rookie in games played..Lucky to have him.

Got me thinking. Who was the Hawk that said “You need 2, I’ll get you 3. You need 4, I’ll get you 3”. Just made me chuckle.

As I posted earlier, "the Hawks post season chances depend on how Will Dissly plays this year." He is KEY to our success!
